Leaving

I am back in South Carolina. And I am extatic(?) about it. I love the sun and the ocean and the beach. It a totally different feel than Minnesota.

Just so every one knows I didn't HATE Minnesota. I just hated the stupid cold and the stupid snow. And the fact that there wasn't an ocean/body of water that wasn't fresh water. But leaving Minnesota was a lot harder than I expected. Okay, maybe not leaving the STATE of Minnesota, but leaving the people. I'm definitely missing Grace and Courtney and the movie nights in the Brown's basement.

The trip down to South Carolina was pretty uneventful. The first day we drove from Rochester, Minnesota to Frankfort, Kentucky. I say thats pretty darn good. We left at 820 ish in the morning and were in Frankfort by 830 p.m. For this trip the car was significantly bigger so my legs didn't hurt as much. The next day started out alot more exciting than the first day. We were supposed to get a wake up call from the hotel at 6 a.m. but we still aren't sure if that happened. For some miraculous reason I woke up at 7 (that never happens). I got out of bed, woke up Bethmom and we were on our way by 745. The first hour of the drive I had to sleep on a stuffed giraffe because we had only two pillows and the boys had commandeered(?) those. Thats about as interesting as it got. Oh! I also learned that big headphones are not enjoyable to sleep with. The last stretch to NMB I think I mass texted everyone I knew at the beach. Then I sent a picture to all the important people not at the beach with my feet in the ocean. Haha Suckers.

Oh my goodness I almost forgot the most important thing!! I left oily lotion marks on the seat of the car from MY NEW TATTOO. I tried to post a picture but it was being stupid so I will later. The tattoo is also kinda a hassle right now. I have a whole nother week before I can get in the ocean or pool. Or the sun. Right now I have a very nice tan line from the bandaids I put over it. It's reall classy.

For all you Minnesotans/Northerners reading this I have already been made fun of for my Northern accent. I guess I really do over pronounce my O's and A's. But I have a feeling that will soon change.

Thats all I have for today Folks.

Sincerely, Veronica M. Ray
